Future Farmers
We believe that opportunities to learn exist all around us.
Our goal is to nurture empathy and compassion for animals, to model an appreciation for farming, eating healthy and making the world a better place.
At Prancing Princess Pony we are rooted in the foundation of student- centered learning, which honors not only the teacher-child relationship but the physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development of children as well. Allowing growth to freely unfold at each child’s own pace. Through creative activities, our children are able to use imagination and critical thinking to create new and meaningful connections.

Children will be immersed in hands-on learning inspired by the natural world, and guided by teachers to achieve learning targets based on elementary education standards. This is where gathering and dissecting seed pods becomes a lesson in understanding an ecosystem, and playing farm stand becomes a lesson in mathematics.
Each day will include different hands-on activities where children will learn/have culinary experiences with seasonal produce, hands-on science experiments, agriculture lessons & in-depth lessons on animals and their behaviors. Music, arts & crafts and story- time will also a part of our curriculum.
